Venice Carnival

I’d been to Venice before, but never during Carnival. Venice Carnival is a massive celebration prior to the 40 days of Lent. People come from all over the world to participate. With them, they bring massive amounts of luggage containing their costumes. Never have I seen more intricate details as in these creative works. 

Venice is lit up with parties and gatherings utilizing the magnificent historical landmarks throughout the city as backdrops. The celebration continues for over two weeks. The city, hotels and restaurants are polished and ready. This is a party Venetian style one should experience at least once in their lifetime.  As a photographer, it’s one big visual Italian feast!
